RdSAP (SAP For Existing Buildings)

Difference from conventional SAP

RdSAP is a more simplified version of the conventional SAP methodology. The main difference between the two is that the RdSAP methodology is used for existing buildings, while conventional SAP is used for new builds, extensions, and conversions.

The information required for RdSAP is a lot simpler and less detailed, and the assessment can often be completed during the site visit itself.

However, the energy efficiency rating system is the same for both schemes, ratings are given from a scale of A-G, with A being the most energy efficiency rating.

How we can help

With our years of experience, you can rest assured that you will receive a smooth and seamless assessment experience.

One of our qualified assessors will conduct a site visit for the property you want assessed, and depending upon your preference, the assessor can either conduct the assessment while on the site visit and hand over the EPC by the end of the visit. Or on the other hand, he could record all the information and model the property with the recorded information back at the office.

The on-site assessment option will require a bit more time to be spent on site. While the other option will require a shorter site visit, but producing the EPC will take slightly longer due to completing the model back in the office.
